Renters

Renters Insurance:

Renters insurance is for the renter, not the landlord.  Landlord policies and condominium policies would be a type of homeowner’s insurance.  Renters insurance covers liability and content inside the building only.  This way you have protection for everything you own.  It does not cover any part of the building itself.  Many apartment complexes are starting to require renter’s insurance for the liability coverage.  This is an inexpensive and generally good policy to carry.
